Caring
No matter what level of care required, our staff cares about our
residents. Because we respect our residents as people, it is important
that each resident feel comfortable and secure at Metron. That is why
our staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide care and
friendship. Providing the assistance necessary for life's daily
activities, while maximizing independence, helps to maintain the dignity and
self worth of all our residents.
Therapy
Through the use of occupational, physical and speech therapists, Metron's
therapy team focuses on maximizing each resident's independence and
mobility. Unlike other nursing homes, we directly employ our therapists
to ensure that they are an integral part of our care planning.
Nutrition
Nutrition is an important part of resident care. Working along side our
care team, a Registered Dietitian ensures that we meet the individual needs of
each person. Enteral feeding and Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) are
also provided when necessary. |
